Air conditioner

Air Conditioner is also referred to as AC, A/C, and air-con. Air conditioning is a process of removing moisture and heat from the air inside of a room or occupied space to improve the comfort of the inhabitant. Air conditioners are used in both the domestic and commercial environments. Conditioners work a lot like the fridge to cool the air in the air in the room by removing heat and moisture. Air conditioner is also used to dehumidify and cool rooms where heat-producing electronic devices are installed, Such as power amplifiers, computer servers.

Air conditioners often uses a fan to distribute the conditioned air to an enclosed space such as a car, building, or Showroom to improve indoor air quality and thermal comfort. In the Construction industry, a complete System of heating, ventilation and air conditioning is referred to as HVAC. 

Good air quality and proper ventilation is vital for comfort, health, and lifestyle. A humid and warm place can increase bacteria and air pollutants.

Types of ac

There are various types of air conditioners specifically designed for a different space, area, and region.

Split-system 

Split system air conditioning is a good choice for houses that have no ductwork. Split system air conditioners have outdoor condenser and compressor with one or many indoor air handling units. These units are attached with blowers and are mounted on the wall. A tube circulated refrigerant between the outdoor unit and indoor air handling unit. Every room will have a separate unit to coll that particular room. 

These split system air conditioners are more energy-efficient and less expensive if you want to cool down the entire room. This unit also allows to control the temperature of each room separately.

Central Air Conditioners

Central air conditioners are a single unite that is a combination of a compressor, condenser, and evaporator usually placed on the roof or on a concrete structure near the foundation. Central air conditioners have ducts running through various parts of the construction from roof or exterior wall. Central air conditioners extract air from inside the building and blows cooled air inside. 

Window air conditioners

These are the most common and preferred type of central air conditioning system used for a single room. All the components required are installed in such a way that they are enclosed in a single box. Window air conditioning units are installed in a slot made in-wall or window sill where the unit sits. 

Portable air conditioners

Portable air conditioner units are similar to window air conditioning units but are designed in such a compact way that it can be moved from room to room. Air conditioners portable units use an outlet for power and it requires you to vent the exhaust through an open window using a supplied hose. 

Evaporative Coolers

Evaporative coolers or cooling air conditioners work best in dry areas of the United States. In the climates where the temperature is hot and the humidity is less, an evaporative cooler can lower the temperature by 20-degree F. An evaporative cooler is a device that cools air through the evaporation of water.

This feature helps you to set the air conditioner to automatically switch on and off at a particular time of the day. Timer helps to cool the house and save energy by allowing the machine to run on a set time. You can select an air conditioner with a 24-hour setting and a clock.
